When Your First Member Becomes Your First Narrative :)

Something really special happened this week.

I recorded my first ever unscripted, unedited, let-the-camera-roll interview.

No script.
No retakes.
Just a conversation.

And I couldn't imagine a better person to share that moment with than my very first client feedback form respondent — the incredible Jenine Lillian.

If you don’t know Jenine yet, you should.

Not only is she one of the most talented artists I’ve ever met, but Jenine has this rare gift of making every person she meets feel genuinely important. The kind of presence where you leave a conversation feeling lighter, seen, and somehow more yourself.

Jenine's work speaks for itself, but what really stands out is the heart behind it.

Jenine is deeply rooted in:

  • Self-care that actually feels human

  • Building community that welcomes everyone

  • And my personal favourite — networking for introverts

Which, as someone who spends a lot of time in rooms where “networking” can feel overwhelming, was a conversation I was more than ready to have.

What I loved most about this interview is that nothing about it was polished.

It was honest.
Curious.
A little bit brave.

We talked about community, self-care, showing up authentically, and how connection doesn’t have to look loud or performative to be powerful.

And toward the end, I shared one of my favourite tips for introverted networking — something that has quietly helped me build meaningful relationships without ever feeling like I had to become someone different.

This conversation reminded me of something important:

Sometimes the best stories start with the very first people who believed in you.

And sometimes those people end up being the perfect ones to help you tell the story.

Thank you, Jenine, for being part of this. 💛

And if you’re an introvert who’s ever wondered how to pull of networking successfully… you’ll definitely want to catch the tip at the end of our conversation.
