Day 148 - A Heck Yes ;)

Some decisions in business require spreadsheets, pros-and-cons lists, and a good night’s sleep before committing.

This was not one of those decisions.

I was sick. The rain was still coming down in sheets. Flood warnings were ongoing. The world outside felt heavy, grey, and relentless. And yet — my heart was so full.

Because that was the day I received an invitation to apply to the Lifestyle Business Academy, run by Ali Abdaal.

If you know, you know.

This isn’t just any academy. It’s one built by someone I genuinely consider a friend — someone whose generosity with knowledge, transparency, and encouragement has shaped how I think about building a business that actually supports your life.

We’re talking about an environment where the goal is clear:
build something sustainable, joyful, and capable of reaching six figures — without burning yourself out to get there.

And then came the part that made me nod my head slightly (and maybe tear up a little):
Unlimited Slack conversations. Unlimited.
With Ali and his GM.

I don’t know how else to say this except: it felt like a dream.

Who would say no to the possibility of having that level of support, insight, and honest feedback while building something you deeply care about?

So I didn’t.

It was a yes — no questions asked.
A “sign me up” yes.
A “this feels aligned in my bones” yes.

All of this happened while I was physically run down, while the rain continued to pour, while the conditions around me were anything but perfect. And yet, internally, I felt light, excited, and deeply grateful.

This is one of those moments I want to remember — not just because of the opportunity itself, but because it reminded me that sometimes the biggest doors open quietly. Not with fireworks, but with a simple invitation and the courage to say yes.

As we continue to grow, this chapter feels especially meaningful. It’s a commitment to learning, to mentorship, and to building this business with intention — not just ambition.

More to come. Always.
And today? Just deep appreciation and a very happy heart.
