Day 145: Right After the Zoom Ended

I hit the button to end the Zoom call…
and just sat there for a moment.

Because the last thing my marketing coach said before we signed off was this:

“You are well on your way to being a handful of the most wildly successful entrepreneurs I have ever worked with.”

I wasn’t expecting that.

This coach works with a non-profit that sponsors business owners — meaning she sees a lot of entrepreneurs. Different industries. Different stages. Different personalities. So hearing those words landed deeply. I felt shocked, beyond happy, and honestly a little still.

And then, almost immediately, I knew I wanted to capture the moment on film — exactly as it was.

This wasn’t just encouragement. From the very first time we worked together, she didn’t only see my strength in accounting. She saw something else too: my ability — and genuine joy — in teaching.

That insight has shaped the work we’re now doing together.

Yes, we’re building NLB Professional Services as a bookkeeping and accounting firm — supporting members who want clarity, confidence, and ease with their numbers. But alongside that, we’re also intentionally developing educational content: videos, workshops, and teaching-style resources that help people understand their finances instead of feeling intimidated by them.

One of the possibilities we’re even exploring is contracting with the very same non-profit that’s currently sponsoring me — moving from being supported, to helping encourage and educate others. That full-circle moment feels incredibly meaningful.

This video was recorded right after that realization settled in. No script. No polish. Just gratitude, surprise, and a deep sense that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be.

Sometimes you don’t need a five-year plan to know you’re on the right path.
Sometimes you just need someone experienced to say, “I see this in you.”

And today, I’m carrying that with me as motivation — not pressure — as NLB continues to grow.
